This chocolate smoothie is seriously amazing! It’s my go-to smoothie recipe. I make it every day. It’s delicious and nutritious, and full of health benefits, which makes it even more enjoyable to drink! It is high in antioxidants, low in calories, and filled with vitamins, minerals, and natural health boosters. It’s the perfect smoothie to make for breakfast. It pairs well with coffee. It’s refreshing, filling, and a natural energy booster. The perfect way to start your day! By having a healthy meal first thing in the morning, I find that I am more likely to get my workout in and also more likely to make healthier choices throughout the day.

So without further ado, here is my wonderfully delicious and healthy blender bomb smoothie recipe:



1/3 cup Water
1 Banana
1 tablespoon Raw Honey *
1 teaspoon Maca Powder * 
½ teaspoon Cinnamon *
1 tablespoon Cacao Powder or Cacao Nibs * 
1 tablespoon Peanut Butter *

I typically use all of the ingredients listed on this recipe, but what’s great about this smoothie is how versatile it is. You have to have the first four ingredients as the base, but other than that, you can kind of pick and choose what you want to add based on what you have in the kitchen or what you are in the mood for.

I love drinking this smoothie not only because it’s DELICIOUS, but because it has so many health benefits!

Blender Bombs have literally transformed my smoothies, taking them from drab to fab! I’m addicted to them. You have to try them! The Blender Bombs themselves contain pecans, dates, honey, flax seeds, hemp seeds, almonds, chia seeds, walnuts, and bee pollen. All of which are good for your health! And they add a nice texture to your smoothie. If you don’t have any blender bombs though, don’t worry! You can still make this smoothie without the blender bomb and it still tastes just as amazing!

Bananas are filled with fiber, potassium, vitamins and antioxidants. Don’t be afraid of the carbs or sugar, bananas are good for you! They are also inexpensive, making this smoothie easy and affordable.

Almond milk is nutritious, dairy free, low in calories, and an excellent source of vitamin E.

Cacao has a delicious chocolate taste, without any of the guilt. It is a powerful superfood, filled with antioxidants (even more than blueberries!) and it’s a good source of iron and magnesium. It can also help improve your mood and give you more energy. If you like chocolate, then you are going to LOVE this smoothie!!

Protein Powder helps keep you full longer. I love the taste of the Vanilla Sunwarrior Protein Powder, you can’t even tell that there is protein powder in your smoothie. All I can taste is a hint of vanilla.

Honey and Cinnamon are rich in antioxidants, and Maca helps balance hormones, increase your energy, and boosts your immune system. And all of them add great flavor to the smoothie!
